Joy Gordon Ph.D., J.D. (1870 - 1917)

Joy Gordon, Ph.D., J.D., is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Fairfield University. A specialist in political philosophy and international law, she holds a degree from Boston University School of Law and a doctorate in philosophy from Yale. She has spent several years researching the economic sanctions imposed on Iraq following the first Gulf War, and has become a recognized expert on the subject. She is the author of numerous articles about the ethics of sanctions.
