Michael Ratner Esq. (1870 - 1917)

Michael Ratner, Esq., president of the Center for Constitutional Rights, challenges constitutional and international-law violations of the U.S. government after 9/11. He served as co-counsel in Rasul v. Bush, the historic Guant namo detainees case that went before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is co-author of Guant namo: What the World Should Know (Chelsea Green Publishing, 2004). He has litigated a dozen cases challenging a Presidents authority to go to war without congressional approval.
