John Rao, D.Phil., holds degrees from Drew University and Oxford. He worked for a year with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute before becoming Associate Professor of History at St. John University in 1979. He is the author of Americanism and the Collapse of the Church in the United States (Roman Forum, 1995) and Removing the Blindfold (Remnant Press, 1999). Rao is also chairman of the Roman Forum and the Dietrich von Hildebrand Institute, and is president of Una Voce, America.
