Clyde Wilson Ph.D. (1870 - 1917)

Dr. Clyde Wilson is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of History at the University of South Carolina. He has written or edited thirty books, recently From Union to Empire: Essays in the Jeffersonian Tradition. He is the editor of the papers of John C. Calhoun and is a contributing editor of Chronicles magazine and director of the League of the South Institute for the Study of Southern Culture and History. His bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees are from the University of North Carolina.
