The Most Rev. George Pell is the Catholic Archbishop of Sydney. He holds a licentiate in theology from Urban University, Rome, a masters degree in education from Monash University, Melbourne, a doctorate of philosophy in church history from the University of Oxford, and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Education. He has written widely in religious and secular magazines in Australia and overseas and regularly speaks on television and radio.
